Shanghai Zhixin Electric Co., Ltd. is a high and new technology listed private enterprise dedicated to the development of high-tech products, transfer, application and commercialization of high technology. Besides its control company, Shanghai Zhixin (Group) Co., Ltd., the company is also invested by large state owned companies such as Shanghai Power Industry General Company, Shanghai State-owned Assets Operation Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Petrochemical Enterprise Development Co., Ltd. The Company introduced design principle from General Electric (GE) USA, and independently developed and produced series of amorphous metal transformers, which reached advanced international level. The Company became the only one that obtained the technological license from GE, USA to manufacture and sell GE's amorphous metal transformer. In China, and has been awarded by Shanghai Municipal Government as "High and New Technology Enterprise", "Quality Model Enterprise", "Industrial enterprise with double Excellent Items: Quality and Environment." and "Key Enterprise with High and New Technology of State Torch Plan". More than 20 products were developed by the Company including: amorphous metal pad-mounted transformer, amorphous metal dry type transformer, single-phase amorphous metal transformer, amorphous metal transformer combined with SF6 Lord switch, three-phase amorphous metal harmonic wave injector and vault public lighting amorphous metal transformer which can work under water and is first pioneered in China. The Company has been granted many municipal and state high and new technology certificates and owns all independent intellectual rights. According to the joint appraisement by National Electric Corporation and National Mechanical Bureau it is confirmed that the amorphous metal transformer and other products produced by the Company have reached international advanced level. The products have been successively selected and listed as "Project of Shanghai Torch Plan" and "Project of State Torch Plan", "The first Transfer of High and New Technological Achievement Appraised by Shanghai Municipality", "Major New Products of State Torch Plan". Meanwhile Shanghai Zhixin Electric Co. and its products have also been listed as "major Recommended Devices and Manufacturers for Nationwide Urban Rural Areas Power Network Upgrade and Construction. At present, the Company has gained ISO9001 quality control system certificate and ISO14001 environment management certificate.
